1. Overview
At My Event Styling, each celebration is carefully prepared and scheduled in advance. Due to the nature of our services, including event styling, equipment hire, and location coordination, this Refund Policy outlines when refunds, credits, or rescheduling may apply.
This policy operates in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind once a booking has been confirmed and payment has been received.
However, at our discretion, we may offer a reschedule or credit where sufficient notice is provided.
3. Cancellations by Client
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

- More than 14 days’ notice: You may be eligible for a reschedule or credit valid for 6 months.
- 7–14 days’ notice: Partial credit may be offered at our discretion.
- Less than 7 days’ notice: Refunds or credits are generally not available due to preparation, scheduling,
and reserved availability.
Each request is assessed individually.
4. Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests where:
- Adequate notice is provided
- Your new date is available
- Rescheduling may be limited during peak periods.
5. Cancellations by My Event Styling
If we are unable to deliver your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, including:
- Severe weather
- Safety concerns
- Illness or emergency
- Location access restrictions
- Events beyond our reasonable control
- We will offer one of the following:
- Rescheduling to a new date, or
- A full or partial refund, depending on circumstances
6. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a refund or remedy if:
- The services are not delivered as agreed
- The services are not provided with due care and skill
- The services are not fit for their intended purpose
7. Location and External Factors
Refunds are not provided for issues outside our control, including:
- Change of mind
- Weather where services can still be reasonably delivered
- Client delays or failure to attend
- Issues relating to third-party venues or locations beyond our control
- We will work with you where possible to find suitable solutions.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
